The Chairman of the UK Maldives All Parliamentary Group Mr David Amess has paid a courtesy call on President Dr Mohamed Waheed Hassan Manik today.
The President briefed Mr Amess on the current political situation, and political developments in the Maldives over the past three years.
Mr Amess highlighted the importance of upholding the principles of democracy in the Maldives.
