President Yameen Abdul Gayyoom has appointed Ahmed Azleen as Home Minister. Previously Azleen was the deputy Minister at Education Ministry.
Former Home Minister Ahmed Zuhoor has been appointed as Minister at Presidential Office. Zuhoor was appointed as Home Minister after previous Home Minister Umar Naseer resigned. Zuhoor has also filled the position of health minister and youth minister in this government.
