Ali Waheed criticises the government for shortening Eid Holidays

Chairperson of MDP، Ali Waheed has heavily criticised the government for bringing about changes to the prior days allocated as Eid Holidays، after tomorrow has been declared as the first day of Hajj this year.
Ali Waheed who is currently residing in London، United Kingdom، criticised the government in a tweet he made today.
“The government’s inconsistent decisions affect the citizens. Eid holidays also gone in vain shows that the government has no aim”، said Ali Waheed.
Although the 20th and 21st of this month were previously declared holidays، now it has been announced that they will not be government holidays. The 22nd of this month which was previously declared Hajj day is not a holiday anymore. With this new change، the 27th of this month has been declared a holiday.
Since the moon of Azur Hijjah was not sighted yesterday، this year’s Eid Al-Ada has been declared as the 24th of this month، against the information predicted on the calendar.
Earlier، the Eid holidays were declared as 20th to 26th September 2015 by the President’s Office.
