Andrew Healy, BML’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) said that the Bank has installed 22 machines that provide the ‘Self Service ATM’ service at five outlets in Male’ city. The machines are active 24/7. Healy – who was Ireland’s youngest bank executive – said that BML would introduce a means to deposit US dollar bank notes as well. The machines would also allow customers to deposit funds into their accounts using bank notes and make loan payments with ease, said BML’s Retail Banking Director Mohamed Shareef. “These machines will allow customers to make loan payments and deposit funds into joint accounts quickly and with ease” said Shareef.
