A drone show and fireworks display will take place at Central Park in Hulhumale' tonight in celebration of Eid al-Fitr.
The drone show will start at 8:30 p.m. and last for 30 minutes, followed by a fireworks display at 9:00 p.m
This event aims to celebrate Eid in a colorful and exciting way, said Housing Development Corporation (HDC).
In addition, a special children's evening is being hosted at Central Park from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Last year, HDC organized fireworks and special activities in the park for Eid.
Male' will also host various exciting activities for Eid celebrations.
The "Eid Haveeru" event, organized by the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) and state-owned enterprises, will feature entertainment and gift-giving activities from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Sultan Park, Islamic Center Square, Republic Square, and the Presidential Jetty area.
Moreover, 65 islands across Maldives have been illuminated with Eid lights and arches, adding to the festive atmosphere.
