A worker has been reported dead after falling from a construction site in Hulhumale’ Phase II this Saturday morning.
Maldives Police Service reports the incident took place at approximately 8:29 am.
The victim has been identified as a Chinese citizen.
MPS reports he fell from the ninth floor to the second floor of Tower VI and died upon impact.
The reason for the fall is unclear at this point. And the MPS has declined to disclose any further details.
The body of the Chinese worker has been taken to the Hulhumale’ Hospital.
