The Chinese Government on Monday had donated plants to the “Value Edition And Agriculture Research In The Maldives” project of Ministry of Fisheries and Agriculture.
The grape plants and orchid plants donated by the Chinese Government was give to Dr. Mohamed Shainee، Minister of Fisheries and Agriculture، by the Chinese Ambassador in Maldives، Mr. Wang Fukang.
“After concluding this experimental program، we will commence the program in the islands with the results received. We will provide the necessary plants and instructions for the program،” Dr. Shainee said.
He further said the experimental program will be conducted at the Agriculture Centre in Haa Dhaal atoll Hanimaadhoo.
