Mujuthaz Appointed as CSC President, Nasih Named Vice President

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has appointed Mohamed Mujuthaz as the President of the Civil Service Commission (CSC) and Mohamed Nasih as its Vice President. The President made the appointments with the approval of the Parliament.
The Parliament endorsed the appointment of Mujuthaz as the President and Nasih as the Vice President of the CSC in an extraordinary session held on Monday.
Mujuthaz was first appointed to the CSC by the President on 20 April. He holds a Bachelor of Laws from the Maldives College of Higher Education, and has previously served as Minister of State for Presidential Affairs, Member of Parliament and in other senior positions.
Mohamed Nasih, who now serves as Vice President, previously served as President of the CSC. He was reappointed to the commission on 7 September following the expiry of his earlier term.
The CSC comprises five members. They are President Mohamed Mujuthaz, Vice President Mohamed Nasih, Fathimath Habeeba, Dr Dheeba Moosa and Dr Hussain Faiz.
