The Bank of Maldives (BML) on Sunday announced this year’s recipients of the BML Scholarship Fund.
They are:

Mariyam Jaishaan Jaleel
Mohamed Shaun Hilmy
The BML Scholarship Fund is a fully funded initiative that supports exceptional students in pursuing undergraduate studies in banking and finance at the world’s top 200 universities.
The program has been described by the national bank as a reflection of its dedication to nurturing talent and strengthening the Maldives’ banking and finance industry.
BML's CEO and Managing Director Mohamed Shareef congratulated the scholarship recipients.
“Your dedication and efforts have earned you this well-deserved recognition. We are confident that the knowledge and experience you gain through this opportunity will contribute meaningfully to your professional growth and to the continued development of the Maldives’ financial sector,” he said.
Since its inception in 2022, the BML Scholarship Fund has supported nine students who are currently pursuing their studies in leading institutions across the UK and Australia.
