Ministry of Economic Development has published the operating hours for commercial shops and food/beverages service providers for the upcoming holy month of Ramadan.
As is customary for Ramadan each year, the operating hours for commercial shops and other service providers are amended for the convenience of the broader public.
As per the ministry’s publication, food and beverage service providers can open from everyday 0530 pm to 0300 am. And on the first seven days of ‘Shawwal’ of the Islamic calendar, places can be opened from 0430 am to 0300 am.
Consecutively, for commercial shops opening hours are 0530 am till 0100 am for the period of Ramadan and the first seven days of Shawwal’.
According to the calendar, the first day of Ramadan is anticipated to be 18 February.
