President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has stated that the Gold Medal achievement by the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) Special Forces team in this year's Pakistan Army Team Spirit (PATS) competition is a source of immense pride and honour for both the Maldivian military and the nation.
The President shared these remarks in a post on his official X account today, extending his warmest congratulations to the Maldivian soldiers for their success and offering high praise and commendation to every member of the team.
The annual competition featured 24 teams from 16 different countries this year. It is designed to test excellence in military skills and discipline, as well as the courage, determination, physical endurance, mental fitness, and team spirit of participants under various strenuous conditions.
