ATMs which can deposit money by cash or cheque has been introduced by Bank of Maldives (BML).
Introducing 22 ATMs in Male’ area on Tuesday، BML CEO Andrew told press that the new ATMs would let customers to deposit money by cash or cheques، making the customers to complete transaction without getting in to long queues.
“This is a huge achievement for the bank. Our customers don’t need to wait in queues at branches anymore. They can use the ATMs 24/7 to get the services they desire.” BML CEO said.
He further said other banks in the world have implemented Self Service Banking Systems، and introducing such a system in Maldives is a very important step taken.
In addition to deposit money by cash or cheque، the newly introduced ATMs also let the customers to transfer money within BML accounts and payment for credit card، loan and bills.
The ATMs are situated at BML Lite، Majeedhee Magu Branch، Main Branch، Velaanaage ATM Center and the new ATM Center near Artificial Beach.
