The Bank of Maldives (BML) has announced plans to introduce a cash deposit machine in Male’.
BML’s Manager Public Relations Hussain Rasheed said that the machine will be launched along with the bank’s new branch which will be opened today. Rufiya, Dollars and cheques can be deposited using the machine.
“We have placed the machine at our new branch. It’s a modern banking service,” he said.
He informed that a special security envelope will be required to deposit cash in the machine, and that the machine’s transactions will be recorded 24 hours.
People can also pay credit card bills and repay loans using the machine.
BML has plans to also install 19 ATMs in Maldives as part of their expansion.
