The police on Sunday organized special festivities for children at Fiyavathi, a state-run shelter for children located in Hulhumale’.
According to the Ministry of Social and Family Development, the police held the celebrations under the banner of ‘Varah Loabin’. The children enjoyed lunch donated by a generous donor, as Hulhumale’ Phase I police distributed gifts and spent time with them.
The ministry said that children at Fiyavathi also received gifts and meals from aid agencies International Aid Campaign (IAC) and Al-Asr during Eid.
