Ha. Hoarafushi Council has decided to launch a special program to beautify the Island in the colours of ‘Boaganvilaa’ flowers.
The program, which was planned under the theme “From every house and every institute of Hoarafushi, beauty of Boaganvilaa”, aims to make the island a greener and make the island decorated with flowers.
Moreover, council stated that winners will be selected and awarded as per the rules laid down by the council. The top 10 will be selected and awarded among the selected positions. It was also decided to select the three most beautiful roads and the most beautiful institution/company.
Hoarafushi Council has not yet decided how long it will take to select the winners as it takes time to grow Boaganvilaa. Council requested all the houses of the island to plant and grow Boaganvilaa.
In addition, Hoarafushi Council informed that various programs will be carried out in collaboration with the people to make the island greener.
