Speaking at a press conference today, President of Adhaalath Party Imran Abdullah said that the exhibition, entitled ‘How the government changed – through artists’ eyes’, will be launched on Monday, 27 August.
Imran expressed confidence that the exhibition would be a moving and comprehensive display of what happened.
He said that the illustrations will be based on photos of the events of 7 February.
The exhibition will be held at the National Art Gallery, and the art pieces will be auctioned at the end of the exhibition.
Illustrations were contributed to the exhibition by artists of Adhaalath Party.
Imran said that the purpose of the art exhibition is to portray the events of 7 February through pictures and in a different way, as other groups have attempted to describe the events in words.
