The results of the international prophetic tradition tournament has been announced. Mariya Ibrahim won first place in the tournament organized by Maldives Islamic University and World Muslim League.
Fathimath Samira and Aminath Hudha came in second and third respectively. Aishath Zidhna won fourth, while Salva Mohamed Latheef came in fifth place.
Islamic University’s Islamic Faulty Dean Sheikh Ali Zahir bin Qasim last night said that the competition was carried out with the books provided by Saudi Arabia. He said that 157 students had taken the books provided by Saudi Arabia.
Sheikh Ali Zahir noted the assistance provided by the Saudi King in ensuring that the competition was held successfully. He thanked the Saudi King, the royal family and all those who had assisted in carrying out the international competition successfully.
At the ceremony held last night in National University Auditorium, visiting Dr. Adil bin Ali Siddi was the chief guest of the ceremony.
