The Civil Services Commission (CSC) officially launched its new Complaints Module on Wednesday, a system designed to simplify the process of submitting complaints to the commission.
The new system was inaugurated by Dr. Mahamood Shougee, Chancellor of Maldives National University, during a ceremony held at the CSC office. The event was attended by various commission officials and employees. Secretaries General of the island councils participated in the ceremony online.
In a statement, the CSC highlighted that the development of this complaint mechanism aims to bolster its ability to receive and respond to complaints promptly. The objective is to ensure that complainants receive timely responses and to enhance the efficiency with which CSC agencies handle complaints.

According to CSC statistics, the commission receives an average of over 7,000 complaints annually. Last year alone, 8,681 complaints were submitted, and the commission reported that all but 30 were addressed.
The CSC further stated that the new system will allow complainants to track the progress of their complaints in real-time. Additionally, the module facilitates direct submission of complaints to the commission.
