President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has appointed Mohamed Nizar as President of the Privatisation and Corporatisation Board (PCB).
The appointment follows the resignation of the former President of the Board, Mohamed Anas.
This is the second time Mohamed Nizar has been appointed to President of the Board, having previously served in the role from 2014 to 2019. He brings advanced qualifications and extensive experience in business and management, alongside 14 years in executive-level positions at the State Trading Organisation (STO).
