A man has been found dead in a home in the Machangolhi district of Male’ City.
According to a police spokesperson, the police received a report on Thursday morning regarding a person in poor health being taken to the Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH).
The police have been informed he was already deceased when taken to the IGMH, said the spokesperson.
The police identified the deceased as a 41-year-old Maldivian male.
The police are looking into this incident, added the spokesperson.
The latest death follows a similar incident on May 7, when a 46-year-old man was found dead in a home in Male’.
