Ooredoo Maldives has partnered with MediaNet as the title coverage partner for the upcoming FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
On behalf of Ooredoo, CEO & MD Khalid Al-Hamadi and CCO Hussain Niyaz signed the agreement while Medianet’s CEO & MD Ahmed Shafeeu and CCO Ahmed Nabah signed on behalf of the rebroadcaster.
Additionally, Raajje TV and ICE Plus also signed the Partnership Agreement with Ooredoo. Medianet has announced that Raajje TV and ICE Plus will broadcast FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
Ooredoo CEO Khalid commented, “Football has always been a sport that holds a special place in the hearts of Maldivians. Our aim for this years World Cup is to bring a grand and exciting experience for the supporters.”
Medianet COO Mr. Ahmed Nabah said, “For the first time in history, we are proud to facilitate exclusivity to local Channels. FIFA World Cup 2022 will be broadcasted on Raajje TV & ICE Plus. It is a pleasure to partner up with Ooredoo.”
FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 is scheduled to kick-off on November 20, 2022. MediaNet have scheduled various programs, Fanzones and Road Shows for the supporters in-order to prepare for this Football Fiesta.
