The key partners for the 2019 edition of South Asian Travel Awards (SATA) sign with the event.
The South Asian Travel Awards is “the first ever regional Travel Award endorsed by Multi National Associations providing the tourism sector of the South Asian region with recognition towards their facilities and service excellence.”
The awards aim to encourage and raise service standards within the regions of the tourism industry and is a one a kind brand with affiliations from regional associations ensuring the process within a smooth and transparent procedure.
The judging panel of SATA consists of high-profile senior representatives selected from destinations with vast knowledge and background of the industry.
The South Asian Travel Awards (SATA) is a HighRise concept. HighRise Maldives is a premier event organizing and management company based in the Maldives that has been at the helm of some of the biggest networking and exhibition-based events.
Following the unveiling event at Sri Lanka in June with the key sponsors and partners, SATA had signed with the key media partners of the event selected from Maldives and other destinations.
The event took place on Monday at Maagiri Hotel, Maldives with Mr Mohamed Shamin the director of communications from SATA signing with partners.
As per the signing, the top-tier travel and tourism news provider Maldives Insider was signed on as the Travel News Partner while The Islandchief signed as the Tabloid Partner. Local media, One Online was signed as the Online News Partner while Digital Studio was roped on board as the Photography Partner.
SATA found their official Business News Partner in Maldives Business Review, a product of the top-tier marketing and public relations firm Blazon Inc.
The awards will take place from 19 to 20 September 2019 at the Amari Galle, Sri Lanka. The event is slated to take place as a retreat with SATA Conversations, Grand Gala and celebration with winners announced at the Grand Gala.
SATA was launched in 2016 with the “intention to provide brands across the region’s travel and hospitality industry with a credible platform to be recognized for their outstanding achievements.”
The SATA 2019 has received over 500 nominations from a myriad of segments within the industry with participants from over 6 destinations and endorsements from more than 17 travel industry organizations and national tourism bodies.
