Former President Maumoon Abdul Gayoom, Chief Justice Abdulla Saeed, and Justice Ali Hameed have been sentenced to one year and seven months for obstruction of justice.
Arrested in February 2018, they were charged with obstruction for refusing to handover their phones after their arrest.
At the last hearing, the state presented two police officers against Chief Justice Saeed, two against Gayoom, and a secret witness against Hameed.
