Maldives Police Service confirms no arrests were made so far regarding Baa Atoll Kendhoo arson attack on three docked sea vessels which includes two boats and a speed-boat.
Police Media Official reports an investigative team has been dispatched to the island over the case of the arson which took place around dawn of Thursday.
A source from Baa Atoll Kendhoo reports the vessels were hit with fire around 05:00hrs in early morning of Thursday and it is highly believed this was a deliberate act.
The fire struck down a fiber-glass speed-boat titled “Fehivina” (Seaweed) and two sea boats، one، a 40-feet boat named “Saraka” (Wheel) and a 70-feet boat called “Hoara”.
Locals had attempted to extinguish the fire caught on all three vessels، however they were unsuccessful in controlling the fire.
