MNDF has participated in the 9th International Research Conference hosted by Sir John Kotelawala Defense University (KDU) of Sri Lanka.
Colonel Vice Waheed, the commanding officer of MNDF’s college of defence and security studies, participated in the research conference on behalf of MNDF. It was held from 8-9 of this month under the title: “Professional Integration for a secure Nation”.
Colonel Vice Waheed gave a presentation on “Integration of Military and Civilian professionals for a secure nation”, during the conference. More than 200 researchers from all over the world gave presentations on 9 different fields during the conference.
The purpose of this conference is to share research ideas and research papers among scholars in an international level. This conference has been organized by KDU since 2007 every year.
Colonel Vice Waheed met with Maldivian soldiers who are studying at KDU during his visit to the university.
