Looter-suspects arrested over mobile-snatch off of expatriate

Two locals have been arrested over the offense of attempting to steal a mobile-phone from an expatriate.
According to Police، a 19-year old local male and a 32-year old local male had been arrested as the prime suspects of the case.
Both suspects were arrested by Galolhu-Police Station officers around 01:35hrs last night during a routine patrolling. The local suspects had attempted to flee after grabbing a mobile phone from an expatriate near Sultan Park – under the pretext of making a phone call.
Police confirms the 19 year old individual has previous altercations with law enforcement officials، with a total of 58 interrogation counts، 18 custody counts while the suspect has a previous arrest counts at 11. Currently two cases of the 19-year old individual have been investigated and sent to Prosecutor General’s Office for prosecution.
The 32 year old individual have 58 interrogation counts، along with custody counts at 32 and he was arrested 20 times previously.
In addition to this، Police confirms both individuals arrested over the case have previous counts of robbery and looting along with illegal narcotics possession as well.
