Civil disobedience imminent following Eid Holidays issues – MP Ali Hussain

As the Government has declared September 20th، 21st and 22nd as government working days، shortening the initial 9-days Eid Holidays، a civil disobedience may erupt among the civil workers، MP Ali Hussain said.
Previously، with Eid-al-Adha falling on September 23rd، Government declared Septembre 20th and 21st as holidays، along with 22nd as day of Arafath، which is also a public holiday، making the whole week as public holidays.
However، with the Saudi Government announcing that Eid-al-Adha will fall on September 24th، the Government declared the initial holidays، 20th 21st and 22nd، as government working days، shortening the initial 9-days long holidays into 5 days – as Sunday، 27th September is considered a holiday for Eid celebration.
Following the government’s decision، several people، who planned trips and vacations during the long holidays have shot criticism at the government.
Kendhoo MP Ali Hussain tweeted today، that following the government’s decision to make 20th، 21st and 22nd as government working days، a civil disobedience may erupt among the civil workers.
