The National Skills and Career Expo, Vara Expo 2025, was launched Thursday at Central Park, Hulhumale', with Bank of Maldives (BML) as the main sponsor.
Organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Labour and Skills Development, the Expo aims to empower Maldivian youth by bringing hundreds of job opportunities and education placements under one roof.

As part of its sponsorship, BML has set up a dedicated stall offering information on internship programs, scholarships, and industrial placements for students and young professionals. BML experts are also on hand to provide career coaching and guidance.
This year’s Expo will run until 22:00 on Saturday, 8 November.
Last year’s event drew over 10,000 attendees.
