Maldives Minister of Environment, Climate Change and Technology Ms Aminath Shauna visited the industrial island of Thilafushi for an inspection.
Minister Shauna visited to inspect the Thilafushi harbor rehabilitation project. During her inspection visit, she was flanked by MTCC CEO Adam Azim along with Managing Director of WAMCO Adam Mohamed.
The harbor rehabilitation project reportedly consists of a surface-water management along with the development of an administrative building for civil and steel works.
Additionally, the project consists of the development of a carriageway and a shed for waste storage area.
Other components of the project include development of a heavy vehicle parking shed, a workshop building and a fuel tank station as well.
