Police are searching for an expatriate worker who had stopped a 19-year-old girl on her way to work, dragged her into some bushes and raped her. The construction worker is believed to have come to Male on 10am ferry. Police said the man is approximately five foot seven inch and has cropped hair. Police have asked for the public's help to find the suspect. According to the police, the suspect's right index finger was severely injured when he travelled on the ferry. The injury is believed to have been inflicted by the victim.
