Food and Hospitality Asia Maldives set to begin next Sunday

Maldives’ most presteigious international hospitality trade event, Lily International Food and Hospitality Asia Maldives (FHAM) is set to make return from Sunday, September 7th, to Tuesday, September 9th.
The event will be held at Hulhumale’ Central Park and will bring together a record-breaking lineup of exhibitors.
In this regard, this year’s edition will be the biggest and most diverse yet, with exhibitors from Germany, United States of America, United Arab Emirates, China, India, Sri Lanka, Singapore and more.
With the Maldives’ booming hospitality sector—home to over 170 world-class resorts and a rapidly growing food and beverage industry—FHAM 2025 is shaping up to be a pivotal platform for global suppliers aiming to connect directly with procurement heads, resort operators, hotel chains, and major retailers.

The exhibition will bring together a wide range of exhibitors from across the hospitality spectrum, including food production, hotel amenities, kitchen equipment, safety and security solutions, spa and wellness, and professional apparel. Participants will be looking to expand their export reach, explore new markets, and forge long-term distribution partnerships.
A major highlight of the event is the return of the prestigious Global Culinary Challenge, which draws competitors from over 20 countries. New to the 2025 edition is the introduction of a Tea Sommeliers category—a first for the Maldives. This exciting addition will showcase the expertise and creativity of tea professionals, combining tradition and innovation to celebrate one of the world's most beloved beverages.
Last year’s competition saw over 400 chefs compete in 21 categories with more than 600 entries. Expectations are even higher for 2025, with the event set to raise the bar in culinary excellence and innovation.

Organizers expect over 5,000 visitors, positioning the event as a blockbuster opportunity not just for exhibitors, but for all industry stakeholders.
“FHAM has evolved into a key hub for international hospitality networking, knowledge exchange, and business partnerships,” said Imran Hassan, Managing Director of Dhivehi Expo Services Pvt. Ltd.
