MP Adam Shareef of Maduvvari constituency has stated that a second Presidential term of Ibrahim Mohamed Solih will lead to Nasheed being imprisoned.
MP Adam Shareef has stated that the ruling party MDP is seen to separate it’s President from the party completely, during a session of the Parliament.
“We are witnessing that the Ruling party MDP is leaving out it’s President. If this administration is re-elected, Nasheed will unquestionably serve a term in prison.”
Additionally, MP Adam Shareef stated that neither the nation’s nor its inhabitants profit from the president’s increased overseas relations. It has only resulted in expense increases.
There has been a strained connection between President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and former President Mohamed Nasheed. This fragile relationship is caused by their competing interests in different situations.
