H.E Akhilesh Mishra, High Commissioner of India met Dr. Mohamed Latheef, Chancellor, Maldivian National University who is going to India under the prestigious Distinguished Visitors Programme of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations from 31st July to 9th August, 2016.
Under this programme, the Government of India invites the guests for a period of 10 days to meet Indian dignitaries in their area of expertise. The programme typically includes a variety of sessions such as lectures, round-table discussions, meetings with Ministers and senior government officials, NGO’s & intellectuals. Visits to historical places and monuments of interest are also scheduled. Full hospitality in terms of international business class air fares, board and lodging, transportation etc. is provided.
