Maldives Post Limited (MPL)’s Managing Director, Ibrahim Shareef, has said that the company will always provide assistance to the Maldivian public in all social causes.
Speaking in a press conference in Housing Ministry today, Ibrahim Shareef said that all companies have a social responsibility component and does not exist solely to make profits.
Shareef added that clearing and taking part in clearing garbage was not part of MPL mandate, but the company had provided the area for the landfill as it was a service rendered to the public.
MPL area is an area with limited area. The company had lent part of the area to the barges, after preparing the area for such work.
