In the special operation launched today at Laamu atoll by Police using K9 squad to confiscate drugs smuggled to the atoll، the “Faara Gema” squad has confiscated a box from a boat named “Dhoores”. 
Police had confiscated drugs of 134.99 grams from the boat “Dhoores” on 19th May even.
Four individuals were arrested following the incident.
The correspond of “Vaguthu” at Gan informed that the boat was searched sometime in the evening. He further said that although a box is confiscated from the boat، the content of the box is still unclear.
Under the operation launched at Gan، Police have searched two shops and two warehouses so far.
Police has confirmed that a special operation is conducted at Gan، however، Police is yet to comment on the matter.
