A very warm welcome is being planned for the arrival of President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom returning from his official، and a successful visit to China. 
An official in the welcome preparation informs Vaguthu that President Yameen will be returning form China with very good news.
The welcoming ceremony will be held from 21:30 on Wednesday night at Jumhooree Maidhaan، says the official and he requested as many people as possible to attend.
“When President arrives to Male’، the two famous singers Ahmed Mohamed (Ammadey) and Aishath Maain Rasheed will perform a song، and after that، a Boduberu item.” said the official.
He said that after the Boduberu item، President will speak with the gathered people.
President Yameen met with the Chinese President Xi Jinping during his official visit to China. During the discussion، Chinese President assured that China will aid Maldives with Economical and Social developments.
Along with President Yameen، Foreign Minister Dunya Maumoon، Tourism Minister Ahmed Adeeb، Economic Minister Mohamed Saeed، Youth Minister Mohamed Maleeh، Minister at President’s Office Mohamed Hussain Shareef attended the official talks in China.
China has agreed to donate 249 million Rufiyaa (100 million Chinese Yuan) to financially aid Maldives، in various developmental projects.
In addition، Chinese Government agreed to donate 150 Motorbikes to Maldives Police Service.
