The convicted former president Mohamed Nasheed’s eldest daughter، Meera Laila Nasheed will be addressing the United Nations Human Rights Council session to be held tonight in Geneva، Switzerland.
Meera، 18، is set to address the council tonight، upon an invitation by Freedom Now، a UK-US Human Right group.
She will speak regarding the trial of former president Mohamed Nasheed and the notable issues of the trial.
The mission of Freedom Now is to free prisoners of conscience through focused legal، political and public relations advocacy efforts.
