The Minister of Foreign Affairs, HE. Dr Mohamed Asim departed to India this morning on an official visit. The visit is undertaken on the invitation by HE Ms. Sushma Swaraj, Minister of External Affairs of India.
During the visit, Minister Asim will call on Vice President of India, His Excellency M. Hamid Ansari, and hold discussions with Minister Sushma Swaraj.
Minister Asim was accompanied by Assistant Director, Mr. Ahmed Suzil and Assistant Director, Ms. Rishfa Rasheed of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Indian High Comissioner to Maldives HE. Mr Akhilesh Mishra has met Dr.Asim this morning and wished him a happy and pleasant Journey.
