Bank of Maldives (BML) has announced the successful establishment of ATM services across all inhabited islands of Dhaalu Atoll. The latest addition, a Self-Service Banking ATM in Hulhudheli, marks a significant milestone in the bank’s efforts to expand its financial services nationwide. This ATM, inaugurated today by President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, is the 157th ATM established in the Maldives.
With this development, BML has further strengthened its presence as the country’s largest financial institution. The bank’s extensive network now includes 39 branches across 20 atolls, 100 Self-Service Banking Centers, 157 ATMs, and Agent Banking services. Additionally, BML offers modern online banking services designed to provide convenient and accessible banking solutions to individuals, businesses, and communities across the country.
Speaking on this achievement, BML’s CEO and Managing Director, Mohamed Shareef, highlighted that Dhaalu Atoll is now the only atoll in the Maldives, among those consisting of separate islands, where ATMs have been installed on all inhabited islands. This milestone reflects BML’s continued commitment to ensuring easy access to banking services for all Maldivians, regardless of their location.
