President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih is scheduled to visit four islands of Thiladhunmathi this week.
The announcement was made by spokesperson at a press conference held at the President’s Office. According to the Spokesperson Miuvaan Mohamed, during president’s visit to Thiladhunmathi, he will be visiting Ha. Utheemu, Haa Ha. Dhidhdhoo, HDh. Finey, HDh. Naivaadhoo.
Moreover, Miuvaan stated that during the visit, the President will meet with Island councils and Women’s Development Committees (WDC). He also stated that president would meet with the people of the islands to assess the general condition of the people.
In addition, President Solih will also attend this year’s National Day function to be held in Utheemu on Tuesday night.
The president is scheduled to begin his official visit on Monday and will conclude on Wednesday.
