Sending off ceremony held for the participants of NCGG training 17th batch

A ceremony has been held for the 17th batch of Maldivian civil servants who will visit New Delhi and Mussoorie for the customized “Capacity Building Programme in the Field  of Administration”.
The ceremony was organised at Maldives Civil Service Commission (CSC). The training programme will be held from October 31 to November 11, 2022, by the National Centre for Good Governance (NCGG).
Moreover, civil servants will learn about total quality management, performance management, stress management at work, public private partnership, SDGs, public grievance redressal mechanism etc. Along with visits to the Delhi Metro Rail Corp., Indian Parliament, AIIMS, PM Museum, Delhi Heritage, and Taj Mahal.
During Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s official visit to the Maldives in June 2019, the CSC and NCGG signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to provide training. Under the MoU, with the 17th batch, a total of 530 Maldivian civil servants will complete the training programme. The relationship between India and the Maldives is truly multifaceted. One of the main tenets of this cooperation is collaboration in the field of capacity building and training.
In addition, President Solih recently paid a visit to India, and both he and Prime Minister Modi expressed their happiness at how recently the bilateral relationship has come to rely heavily on capacity building and training. Several capacity building opportunities are being offered under various MoUs and GoI’s ITEC and other schemes.
