The joint event between the Bank of Maldives (BML) and Total Fitness Group (TFG) named “BML Wow Kids Run” has concluded with more than 2000 participants.
The event took place yesterday and saw the participation from around 900 students of different ages, along with their parents. Participants were able to take part in 2km, 3km, and 4km runs.
At the end of the event, participants were awarded medals at the Hulhumalé Central Park.
Additionally, BML also took this opportunity to highlight a fundraising platform they introduced and donated its proceedings of MVR250,105 to the local non-profit known as ARC.
The donation was presented by student participants of the run, along with the Deputy CEO of BML, Mr Mohammed Shareef.
ARC stated that this money will go towards their anti-bullying campaign dubbed “Beat Bullying”.
