21st Century Skills Development Strategies launched

The 21st Century Skills Development Strategies have been launched.
The initiative was inaugurated by the Minister of Higher Education, Labour and Skills Development, Ali Haidar. It aims to ensure students gain essential, workplace-relevant skills through education programmes.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Minister Haidar emphasised that education should focus on applying skills to solve real-world problems, rather than knowledge alone. He highlighted the need for collective effort to achieve the goals of the skills development strategies.
The Minister said similar skills development initiatives are being implemented internationally. The initiative will identify skills needed in the workplace and integrate them into the national curriculum, and programmes will be conducted to equip students with skills required for modern work environments.
