President announces new science lab and classrooms to support permanent A-level education in Kudafari

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has announced that a science laboratory and six additional classrooms will be established in N. Kudafari to facilitate the permanent provision of A-level education.
He made the announcement during an address to Kudafari residents as part of his ongoing tour of the inhabited islands of South Miladhunmadulu Atoll, stating that the initiative will be financed through next year’s budget.
The President outlined the development efforts currently underway in Kudafari, as well as those in the pipeline, reassuring residents that all planned projects will be delivered in accordance with their needs and expectations.
He further assured that coastal protection work will be undertaken in accordance with the island’s land use plan and implemented in a way that ensures long-term economic benefits for Kudafari, reflecting the community’s aspirations.
Underscoring the Government’s commitment to advancing development through every available avenue, the President announced plans to establish a modern, soundproof powerhouse at the site of the existing generator facility.
Additionally, he indicated that the proposed Fitness and Recreation Centre on the island will proceed once the council designates a suitable plot of land.
President Dr Muizzu reaffirmed the Government’s unwavering support for Kudafari’s progress, assuring residents that all developmental efforts will be undertaken equitably and without prejudice.
