Maldivian Flight operations will be commenced to major five cities in China before the end of February، Island Aviation says.
In the venture to operate flights to multiple Chinese destination، the first flight was operated to Nanjing Province today، Abdulla Haris، the Managing Director of Island Aviation told the press in a function held at the airport today، marking the arrival of new aircraft A321 of Maldivian carrying passengers from Jinagsu، Nanjing Province.
“Our flight will be operated to Changsha tonight. That is our fourth destination. The flight operation will commence to our fifth province، Xi’an the next day. By the mid of this month، we will have five destinations in China.” Haris said.
Maldivian was operated to two cities، Beijing and Chendu، before.
Haris further said the most tourists to visit Maldives are from China and expanding the flight operations to China will have a positive impact on Maldives’ economy.
The Airbus A321 operated today was carrying 200 passengers from Jinagsu، Nanjing.
