Foreign Minister Dunya Maumoon has met with the Secretary-General of UN، Ban Ki-moon.
At this meeting on the margins of the ongoing General Assembly of UN in New York، Minister thanked the Secretary-General for the work done by UN for the development of Maldives at such a time when Maldives is celebrating its 50th Independence Day.
Dunya also highlighted upon the relationship between Maldives and the UN.
At this meeting، Secretary-General congratulated the Alliance of Small Island States (AOSIS) for their work in consolidating the voice of Maldives to address global warming.
This meeting was also attended by Foreign Secretary، Dr. Ali Naseer as well.
