Education Minister Dr.Aishath Shiham have said that with the modern resources available in schools, the education system of Maldives will witness revolution developments this year.
She said this via a statement publicized on the commencement of the new academic year. Minister said that for the first time, all the schools of Maldives are connected with one network and will be able to share resources and information via the network. She said that a lot of progress will be seen due to this project.
In addition, Minister said that the ministry’s program to improve the capacity of teachers will go on this year as well. She also said that the government will provided the needed resources to the schools.
Minister said that even with the resources available now, the schools will attain national and international records. Minister noted that the schools were able to get a lot of recourses this year that the schools have never received before, is because of the priority given to it by President Yameen.
