Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has announced changes to its ferry and bus services in connection with the month of Ramadan. As part of the adjustments, MTCC aims to continue providing reliable and convenient public transportation services for the people during this period.
In the Male' area, bus trips from Male' to Hulhumale' Phase 1 and Male' to Hulhumale' Phase 2 will start at 7:00 AM, with services resuming after iftar at 7:20 PM. These buses will operate until midnight.
Additionally, buses within Male' (Orchid, Sosan, and Ameenee routes) will begin at 7:00 AM. Following a break at 6:00 PM, services will recommence at 9:00 PM and continue until 12:00 AM.
Changes to RTL ferry schedules include ensuring that the last trip on each route finishes before sunset, with no RTL ferry services operating on Fridays during Ramadan.
