The Maldives Association of Travel Agents and Tour Operators (MATATO) has exhibited the country as part of destination promotion at the seventh edition of Worldmaster International Travel Mart held the Philippines.
The business to business exclusive event aimed at hoteliers, tour operators, travel agents and other relevant players of the field took place at Manila and Cebu from 1 April to 3 April.
Regarding their participation at the event, MATATO had issued a statement which read “destination marketing events participated by MATATO in the global market are handpicked from emerging markets that has potential for local agents and hoteliers to exploit.”
The Worldmaster International Travel Mart’s seventh edition had witnessed more than 400 exhibitors from across the globe participating in the event.
The aim of the travel mart is possibly to improve the network of existing tour operators and travel agencies as well as showcase competitive buyers who are looking to promote both inbound and outbound travel services as well as to showcase the latest innovations in the travel industry.
In addition to this the event also is regarded as a potential venue for businesses to extend their partnerships and seek prominent travel industry experts to tie relationships with.
MATATO, one of the leading organizations promoting Maldives as a tourist destination had also participated at the Riyadh Travel Fair 2019 at Saudi Arabia as well along with the Vietnam International Travel Mart (VITM).
