Sea Cross Maldives contracted with building a city hotel in Kaashidhoo

Sea Cross Maldives has been contracted with building a 50 room city hotel in Kaafu Kaashidhoo.
They were awarded the contract in a ceremony held today. The chief guest of the ceremony was Home Minister Ahmed Azleen. The MD of Sea Cross Maldives, Ahmed Ali said that they will start working on the project in the coming December.
As per the contract they should finish the hotel within 24 months. The council of Kaashidhoo says that this will open the island to tourism. The President of the council Esa Khaleel said that he expects the island to be developed because of the hotel. He also said job opportunities will open up once the hotel starts operating.
The hotel will be constructed by Sea Cross Maldives in association with a Chinese company.
